COVID-19 Recommendations

We know your pet is an important member of your family and their health is a priority. At [[Location Name]], we understand the concern and questions many of our clients have regarding their pets and how the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) could potentially impact them.

We felt it was important to connect with you, our loyal clients, to share information that can help put your mind at ease, and assure you we are staying on top of the emerging information as it becomes available.

While we are still learning much in regards to the virus, we are confident that human to pet or pet to human transmission of COVID-19 is not likely. Meaning, should there at some point be exposure to COVID-19, it is not possible for you to catch coronvirus from your pet or for your pet to transmit the virus to you.

We are keeping clients & patients safe i.e. extra disinfecting of surfaces and implementing social distancing protocols.

COVID-19 Recommendations – Please Read Carefully

Have you travelled to a high-risk area and/or demonstrate respiratory disease / fever?

We ask that you arrange for someone else to bring your pet in and your pet will be admitted from the vehicle by one of our staff.

Are you demonstrating any signs of respiratory disease and have no history of travel?

We ask that you arrange for someone else to bring your pet in for normal admission. If not, we ask that you remain in your vehicle and your pet will be admitted from the vehicle by one of our staff.

When the above situation arises and upon arrival at our clinic, please call our clinic @ 905 836-4001.

On completion of your pet’s evaluation, our Doctor will call you with treatment recommendations and financial details so that we may obtain your consent by phone, to proceed.

The above also applies for all medication prescriptions and food orders that are picked up directly from the clinic.
