• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Monday 8 am - 7 pm, Wednesday 8 am - 5 pm, Thursday 9am - 6 pm, Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Armitage Animal Clinic is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice proudly serving the Newmarket community. We are a close-knit team committed to providing exceptional veterinary care in a supportive, respectful, and positive work environment.

We are currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician — or a new graduate actively working toward registration — to join our team in a full-time role with a four-day workweek and no weekends.

About the Role

As an RVT at Armitage Animal Clinic, you’ll play a vital role in patient care and clinic operations while working alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians who value collaboration and mutual support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring
• Inpatient and outpatient nursing care
• Diagnostic and laboratory support
• Client education and communication
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization

The ideal candidate

• Registered Veterinary Technician (or new grad in the registration process)
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Passion for high-quality medicine and patient care
• Eager to learn and grow within a supportive team
