Is your pet getting lumpy and bumpy? Do they have skin tags that keep getting caught or warts that get scratched? Cryotherapy is a form of mass removal that is less invasive than traditional forms of removal (ie. surgery) and most times don’t require anaesthetic.
What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is the process of applying extreme cold to an area of the skin that is abnormal. When applied locally to a mass, the cold temperatures cause the affected tissue cells to die and fall off.
How Effective is Cryotherapy?
For the removal of small masses and warts, cryotherapy is incredibly effective, generally only requiring one or two treatments for removal. Our doctors will assess the mass in question and determine if cryotherapy is appropriate for your pet. Give us a call to book your consultation today.
